Criterion Theatre location

Deep underground beside Piccadilly Circus tube station, the Criterion is easily accessed by all forms of public transport. Its central location means there's a plethora of places to eat and drink. Just over the road is the famous Trocadero shopping centre, perfect for those shopaholics amongst you. The area around Piccadilly does tend to get very busy, especially at night-time, so leave enough time to battle the crowds.

By tube

  • The nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus (for the Bakerloo and Piccadilly Lines), right next to the venue, plus Leicester square (for the Northern and Piccadilly lines) and Charing Cross (for the Bakerloo and Piccadilly Lines)
  • Piccadilly Circus: The theatre is immediately outside the tube station next to Lillywhites and the statue of Eros
  • 5 minutes from Leicester Square: Take the Leicester Square exit and head straight down Coventry Street past the square and cinemas. Keep walking until you get to Piccadilly Circus tube station and the theatre is on the left-hand side, right next to the statue of Eros
  • 10 minutes from Charing Cross: Head straight out of the station and cross the road at the traffic lights. Turn left toward Trafalgar Square. Cross the square to get to Pall Mall and then take the first right up Haymarket. Turn left as Haymarket joins Piccadilly Circus and the venue is on your left

  • Buses that stop along Haymarket: 3, 12, 88, 453
  • Buses that stop along Regent Street: 3, 6, 12, 13, 15, 23, 88, 139, 453

It costs about £18 for up to 3hrs, £24 for 4hrs, 50% less when you get your parking ticket stamped at the theatre box office. Ask a theatre usher for details about how to get your ticket validated
